The Lello 4080 Musso Lussino is a high-performance, Italian-made ice cream and gelato maker designed for home chefs who want smooth, professional-quality results with minimal effort. With its self-contained refrigeration system and solid stainless steel construction, the 4080 brings authentic frozen dessert making into your home with no prefreezing required.
No need to prefreeze the bowl. Just pour in your mixture and press a button. The built-in compressor handles it all.
Perfect for small families or entertaining guests. Makes just the right amount without wasting ingredients.
All-metal design for better hygiene, easier cleaning, and long-term durability.
Easy-to-use buttons for churning and freezing. No confusing menus or digital errors.
Produces frozen desserts with minimal ice crystals for a true gelato experience.
Make multiple batches back-to-back without waiting. It’s perfect for parties, events, or experimenting with flavors.
1. Prepare your ice cream base using your favorite recipe. Make sure it’s well chilled before pouring.
2. Lift the lid and pour your mixture directly into the built-in stainless steel bowl.
3. Turn on the “Churn” and “Compressor” switches located on the control panel. These start the mixing and freezing processes simultaneously.
4. Wait 20 to 30 minutes while the machine quietly freezes and churns your mixture into smooth, dense gelato.
5. Scoop and enjoy right away, or transfer your batch to a container for freezer storage.
I teach pastry and frozen desserts, and the Lello 4080 is what I recommend to serious students who want pro-quality results at home. The texture is silky, the freezing is consistent, and it doesn’t require any prefreezing, which is a huge time saver. It’s not cheap, but you absolutely get what you pay for.

I bought the 4080 after getting tired of weak plastic models. This thing is built like a tank. My pistachio gelato turned out better than anything I’ve bought locally. It’s easy to use, and the stainless steel construction gives it a nice, professional look in my kitchen.

We make ice cream every weekend now. The Lello 4080 is fast, quiet, and so easy to operate. I was worried cleanup would be a hassle since the bowl is built-in, but it’s honestly no harder than wiping out a pot. My kids love experimenting with flavors, and I love the results.

You can make gelato, ice cream, sorbet, frozen yogurt, and even dairy-free or vegan frozen treats. It handles most mixtures very well.
Yes, though the bowl is non-removable. After scooping out the dessert, just wipe the interior with a damp cloth and mild soap. The stainless steel surface is smooth and easy to clean, and the paddle detaches for rinsing.
It’s fairly quiet for a compressor-based machine. You’ll hear a low hum from the motor and cooling system, but it’s not disruptive, quieter than many home blenders.
The 4080 features a full stainless steel housing, bowl, and paddle, which makes it durable, hygienic, and great for temperature control.
Yes. The machine usually comes with a basic recipe booklet to help you get started. Many users also explore online recipes or gelato cookbooks for inspiration.
Yes. The Lello 4080 Musso Lussino typically comes with a 1-year limited warranty, covering manufacturing defects. Be sure to keep your proof of purchase and register your machine if required.
I wanted to purchase the Lello musso 4080 in 220v. Where can I buy?
Thanks for your interest in the Lello Musso 4080. A 220V or 230V version may be suitable for countries that use around 220 to 240V household power, which commonly includes much of Europe, the UK, Australia, and many other international markets. Availability can vary by seller, so the best option usually depends on which country you are located in. If you let us know your country, we can point you in the right direction.
I want a 220v version please. I live in United Arab Emirates
Hello, thank you for your message. Since you are in the United Arab Emirates, you can order the Musso 4080 from Musso’s official online store. The product page lists the machine as 230V / 50Hz or 110V / 60Hz, which means there are different electrical versions rather than one universal voltage model. For use in the UAE, please check with the seller first and ask for the 230V / 50Hz version, as that is the correct version for your country. Many people still say “220V,” but the local standard is 230V / 50Hz. Musso ships to the UAE, shipping is calculated at checkout, and the shipping policy shows an indicative rate of €190 for home machines to the Middle East. Order processing is usually 2–3 business days, estimated delivery is about 9–13 business days, and any customs or import charges are paid by the recipient upon delivery. Thank you.
I live in Texas.
Hi, thanks for letting us know. Since you are in Texas, you can normally purchase the Lello 4080 from Amazon or 1st in Coffee, although both are currently out of stock. You can wait for either retailer to restock, or check Nella Online to see whether they can ship the machine to your address.
Where can I purchase this in the USA? Amazon is listed above but it is sold out there.
Hi! Good news — the Lello 4080 is back in stock on Amazon now. You should be able to order it there again.
I need someone to contact me about the 4080 warranty.
Hi! For warranty support on the Musso/Lello 4080, the best contact can depend on where you purchased the machine. If you bought it from a retailer, contact the seller first, since warranty service may vary by seller and country.
You can also contact Gelatiere Musso, the manufacturer in Italy, at info@gelatieremusso.it or +39 0384 99093. Keep your proof of purchase and purchase date ready, along with the machine details and a description of the problem.
If you purchased the 4080 in the U.S. under the Lello brand, you can also contact:
Service & Warranty: 1-800-223-1898
Consumer Service: 1-201-939-2555.
Hi there,
I’d love to buy your gelato maker for 240v as I live in Australia. Can you help me with where to buy from?
Hi there, thanks for reaching out. The good news is that you can order a Musso gelato maker for use in Australia. Although Australian power is still commonly called 240V, the country’s nominal household supply is 230V. The Musso 230V/50Hz version is therefore the suitable option for Australia.
You can order it from the Musso Ice Cream Machines online store, which ships to all countries in Oceania, including Australia. For home gelato makers, the listed international shipping estimate is €240, although the exact cost will appear at checkout after you enter your address. Delivery generally takes around 9–13 business days, including order processing. Please note that any import duties or customs charges are paid by the recipient, and orders outside the EU include a one-year warranty.
help – my machine stopped churning I was on the 3rd batch and it just stopped? the machine isn’t even 1 year old Please help me
what can i do?
Hi, sorry to hear that. Please turn the machine off and unplug it. Allow any frozen mixture around the paddle and center shaft to soften completely, then remove it carefully. Please do not force the paddle or try to turn it by hand.
The paddle may stop if the mixture becomes too hard or places too much resistance on the motor. This can happen with an oversized batch, a very thick base, or a recipe that freezes harder than expected. Frozen mixture left around the paddle or center shaft may also prevent it from turning properly.
After the machine has been cleaned, please do not restart it if the paddle still appears stuck or if you noticed grinding, unusual noise, or overheating before it stopped.
Since the machine is less than one year old, please contact the seller you purchased it from and ask them to confirm the warranty coverage and the correct service process. Have your order information and serial number available, and do not open or repair the machine yourself before checking the warranty terms.
Hi,
Do you guys have any of the Lello 4080’s remaining in stock? Amazon seems to be sold out. Any indication when more will be available?
Best,
Hi,
Thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately, we do not have any Lello 4080 units left in stock at the moment.
Temporary shortages are fairly common with this model. It has gone in and out of stock before, especially during the busier summer season while retailers wait for new shipments from Italy. We do not have a confirmed restock date yet, but we will let you know as soon as more units become available.
In the meantime, you may want to check Nella Online (more expensive though) or the Musso official online store (not shipped to Canada and the USA). Nella Online currently shows the 4080 available to add to cart. Please confirm shipping availability, voltage, and warranty coverage before placing an order.
Hi
I want lello 4080 in pakistan do you also deliver in pakistan. Seriously I have seen the reviews of this machine it’s the best plz do let me know I want this machine . And what is the price of machine right now both of the models?
Hi! You can buy the Lello/Musso Mini Lussino 4080 from musso-icecream-machines.com, which ships to Pakistan. The 4080 currently costs €657.30 excluding VAT. Shipping is calculated separately, and customs or import charges may also apply in Pakistan. The estimated total delivery time for home machines outside Europe is around 9–13 working days.
For Pakistan, check the voltage before ordering. Musso offers the 4080 in both 230V/50Hz and 110V/60Hz versions. Pakistan uses 230V/50Hz, while the 110V version would require a suitable step-down transformer.
For reference, the larger Musso Pola Stella 5030 costs €919.67 excluding VAT on the same site.
You can also find the 4080 on Ubuy Pakistan for around PKR 313,917, before shipping and customs, but it is currently out of stock. The version there is 110/120V 60Hz, so if you buy that version for use in Pakistan, you will also need a suitable step-down transformer.
